Skin boosters and polynucleotides
Skin boosters and polynucleotide treatments are injectables aiming to treat the lower layers of the skin (dermis) where ordinary products cannot penetrate.
Skin Boosters
Skin boosters are injections of hyaluronic acid that helps to moisturise the deeper skin layers. This helps with collagen production, improves elasticity and can reduce fine lines and wrinkles.
There are many brands of skin boosters on the market, I use Profhilo, Jalupro HMW and Jalupro Classic.
Polynucleotides
Also known as the 'Salmon DNA facial'. Polynucleotides use purified DNA extracted from salmon milt that when injected into the skin helps to repair damage, boost collagen production and improve hydration. Polynucleotide treatment is particularly effective at reducing dark circles under the eyes. I use a product called AMI EYES for this.
